I often use the item directory to browse items on the site as a whole, and while it's already a useful tool I think it could stand to improve in some aspects. Notably on the options available for filtering. I feel that "Wearable" is too broad a category. If possible, having separate categories for backdrops, hairstyles, tops, etc. would be a huge timesaver.

There's already a bit of a workaround for that through further specifying in the item name with descriptors such as boots, slacks, trousers etc. but that only works to a point considering not all items in a certain category are always described as such. I can see how this might be time-consuming, especially considering the sheer volume of wearables, but I figured I might as well post about it.

I did my best to check this hasn't been mentioned before and it doesn't seem so, at least not recently. Hopefully I didn't miss anything but if I did I apologise.

Yes, adding a layer sort to the item directory would be useful.

I recommend using SubetaLodge - it has loads of sorting options and lets you keep track of things like the items in your wardrobe.

I believe Keith mentioned tagging wearables. So I would hope after wearables were tagged that this would then be able to be implemented.
