My battles with Meatslab are getting me pretty close to beating him, usually with him around 100-300 hit points before he wears me down. What are the best pylonics/throwing vials/potions for tipping a close battle in your favor? Should I just focus on ones that deal extra damage and try to avoid other effects entirely?
stock up on !! it's a one-turn full block like shinwa's temple shard (limit one equipped at a time, of course), perfect for that last turn "it's absolutely dead, i just need Insurance" situation
also i think one of the throwing vials freezes (must be Mercurial Throwing Vial since... i have a lot of them saved up), but other than that, i think the best potions are situational? either use them when the opponent is frozen or focus on equipping whatever the opponent doesn't block
What about potion of life. The pink one that's expensive. I have 1 attached to every pet. Throwing vials are great. I have lots of Dark Death and dark Life attached. About 4 each of the dark earth, water, fire, light potions. Vial of Dark water and allure potions, all of the plyonics.
I wish I could go back in time..
@ jensen Thank you very much! I'd been using the negating pylonic kinda randomly and hoping it would coincide with a big hit. That is a way better method lmao. I managed to take him out and he couldn't force it to a tie thanks to that pylonic! That and one of every throwing vial I had on hand did enough to shave that big slab of meat down to size.
I didn't know potion of life existed at all, thank you! Another full heal like that (since my pet is lower than 1000hp) will be enough to ensure I can beat him, actually maybe I can get further in battle quests with that thing. And I didn't realize the dark/earth/life/magma potions packed such a punch either. I gotta stock up on those.
