What a silly question! But truly, how does food on the site work? I am working on achievements and I notice some foods bring my pet from 1/10 hunger to 2/10, while other foods bump them up higher. Is it rarity that determines how many food slots get filled when a pet eats an item? Thanks in advance for any info!
the vast majority of foods will relieve just one unit of hunger. All of the ones that do more than that are old items. The reason seems to be whimsical, there is no rhyme or reason to this. Staff themselves don't have a record of which ones do.
Rarity is not relevant. As far as I know, nobody has made a list of those few foods that do more than one unit of hunger relief.
Aha! Thanks so much for the info! I noticed it today when feeding my pet Neugarten items. I'll just pay it no mind! :)
oho! That is news for petfeeders and users who are doing the Gourmand Achievement. Most but not all Alegarten and Neugarten foods are new.
Do you remember which?
@ Solsticesprite Oooh I don't, darn, I'll update if I find any more, as I have a lot of Neugarten food to feed!
Edit: just bumped her from 7/10 to 9/10!
There's a list of foods here that decrease hunger by more than one point. I'm not sure if it's a complete list though since it's a couple years old and the thread is locked Foods that Decrease Hunger More Than 1 Point
Aha, thank you so much!!
