Hi! If this is in the wrong category please let me know! I'm not 100% sure where everything goes yet here on the forums.

Basically I've been noticing this for awhile, but whenever there's a notification in the events bar there's no input feedback on the trash buttons (both the category and individual alert trash buttons) for when you hover over them or when you click them (such as a different color or image to show you're hovering/clicking it). I think this would be an easy fix that'd really clean up the events tab! For awhile I wasn't even aware the trash can by each individual alert in a category was a button because it didn't look like something that was clickable and had no feedback when hovering over/clicking it.

That's it really! Just a small thing that bugged me a little and would be an easy fix so why not mention it. Thanks! Have a good day!

Never thought about this before but it makes sense!

Mild support. The box does close even if we don't know why. I agree that the trash can didn't look like a trash can to me. I just clicked on all four corners of the box until I got the close result that I wanted.

A hover over it is unnecesary if the image is replaced by an x.

The idea of an x in a corner that closes a box has become near-universal since events notifications were first introduced to Subeta. The trash can was a macintosh thing, it was very popular way back when, but this image has not won out. I dunno how modern apple machines work, but the close box was in the UL corner.

I think an X would possibly be confusing because although it is universal it typically closes things not delete them. Some people may think they are just closing the tab without deleting their events only to find them gone later. Yes there is a drop down button but it is at least as hard to see if not harder to see than the trash button.

The trash can is hard to identify especially depending on your choice of layout. Mine for instance is the Luminaire layout which is very drab neutral colors. It would be nice if the buttons looked like buttons when you hovered and it would be even better if they were at least slightly bigger so they are easier to see and click.
