Hello! Forgive me if this has been suggested before; I've recently been frequenting Subeta again after a number of years. EDIT: Check out Armor's Layer Clarity thread as well!

Considering there is so much you can do with your HA's face, and that many items do not contain/are not searchable by a relevant keyword ("lip", "eye", etc.), I think it would be very helpful to have either separate layers or subcategories within the Face layer that represent different areas of the face. That way, I could more easily find items specifically for eyes, brows, mouth, nose, cheeks, full face, etc.

I realize Drawers are a thing for items you already own, but I would also like to be able to search All Items this way in the Wardrobe.

On a similar note - is there already a plan to introduce a more refined/versatile tag or search system within the wardrobe?

After being gone for so long, there's so many more items to play around with (especially CWs!), but its been hard to find new items without having to just sit and click through dozens of pages or take a wild stab at a keyword that may or may not yield the results I want.

I remember when there was a "search by color" option, but it had issues if my memory is correct. However, I think it would at least be possible to create very simple umbrella color tags/categories to search by, like 'red', 'pink', 'black', etc.

With 34997 official clothing items and 48700 CWs, for a total of 83,000 ish clothing items it makes sense to make more layers.

There are 57 pages of face layer items, nearly 5700 items to wade through. Hair and chest are both over a 100 pages. Overchest and bottom are both also in the 50s.

With no naming system in place, a tag system seems the best option. Though even fixing the color selector so it could be used would be helpful.

Some easier way of wading through the wardrobe needs to be implemented.

I use drawers, they are essential, but, as you pointed out, the system breaks down when parsing through unowned items.

That would be helpful. Even though I still haven't gotten used to head and hair being separate, breaking it down would make it easier to not be overwhelmed.

Full support! If Subeta wants ideas, they can take a look at the tagging system that we use over at SubetaLodge. Those would be great new categories!

I'd really love this. Being able to sort through all items tagged as "eyes" would be amazing. I'm using the drawers system right now to make my own categories for eyes, nose, and mouth, but they are limited to items I own and I have to manually add items when I get them, which means plenty of them fall through the cracks and I have to stay on top of wardrobe management to keep them up to date. Being able to sort through all eye items I don't own yet would be really cool.

Yes, please. If we managed to separate head and hair with a massive number of items I think this would be very realistic and doable. I suffer every time I need beard items.

I always use the same half dozen face items cause it's such a pain to look through the massive categories, so I think it'd help inspire a lot of creativity if it were easier.

We desperately need more nuanced sorting in the wardrobe. There's so many items.

Full support for this! I use drawers, but sorting everything manually is time-consuming.

This would be beneficial to the entire site and could be accomplished relatively quickly, given how successfully the head/hair layers were sorted!

At least go for Eyes, Noses, Mouths, & Face for the remainder - although Blushes, Blemishes, Brows & Facial Hair wouldn't go amiss either. >.>

I am always here to support more clarity and ease of use in layering. Face is definitely an area that needs this (although there are also quite a few others, and if you have thoughts on those please feel free to post on my Layer Clarity suggestion thread!) Even just separating facial features, makeup, and facial accessories (like jewelry) out from each other would be very helpful.

I didn't see this before posting, but essentially we're on the same page, yes!! A lot of items are sorted questionably, so there definitely needs to be more organization and clarity within the wardrobe in general. Its a bit overwhelming as it is now!

I am all for this! I was just going through the "face" layer and ohlawds.. Just having a "nose" "mouth" or "eyes" (maybe just like eyes, not the makeup around them.) would be so nice because I'm going through like 20+ pages just trying to find a mouth or something, haha..

They could even do the volunteer thing again if necessary like they did with the hair.

Despite risk of layer-overkill, another potentially useful subcategory would be distinction between Left and Right.

I can see this possibly being useful in the ears, arms, hands, legs, and feet layers, but especially in the "held" layer.

Being able to find items that are held in one hand vs. another would be super useful, at least for me! 😅

YES! Especially the held layer, but could be useful in a lot of layers. Though, please, please make sure if you're referring to the HA's left and right or from my point of view!

eternal support for this, especially since we're far past the times of limiting how many items per layer we can use, especially for the face aspects (also pretty please a distinction between 'original' flavor limb modifiers and 'have to hide HA limbs to use' items we're getting now)
