So as far as I know, I don't think anyone has started a thread for this yet, and September is 2 months away now, so I thought there should be one by now.

Subeta Anniversary:

It seems as if the staff are trying to phase out having loads of new items for the anniversary (and for milestone celebrations and year numbers in general), they only released one new item last year, and the year before they had those cakes which could be re-released for any kind of event. So instead the suggestions could be based more on other things, like other activities, or re-releasing older items.

It would be nice if they did give out the cakes again, but with other colours, or have another cake that only gives out cakes of those other colours. There could also be forum threads about certain things like how they had one last year, it would be nice if we had NPC threads again since we haven't had those in ages, and I would say with forum giftboxes but after the mess that happened in 2019, they might need to find a way to limit it to only certain threads as they suggested during a feedback thread about it. Or instead they could just increase the chances of getting forum points (since those are hard to come by even if you post a lot).

I really liked that last year they included shorter versions of the hair from 2019, and trouser versions of the skirts from that year as well, I would also like to see some matching tops for those skirts and trousers.

I think it would also be nice to have some more items about what the pirates do when they're sailing. Do they stop at other Subeta lands? I think there are probably already some pirate items inspired by other lands, but if not then it would be nice to see some.

I would be really surprised if we didn't get any Simple Hydrus Pet Figures (unless the artist who draws them is unavailable). Looking at the existing Hydrus pets we have, I'd quite like to see figures of the Bovyne (the overlay could be that shell it wears around its neck), the Celinox (the overlay could be that purple coral that grows on it), the Charlie (it has quite a few things that the overlay could be), the Devonti (the overlay could be those black things around its face), the Escalade (the overlay could be its tails), the Legeica (the overlay could be the seaweed around its limbs, or its mane and horn), the Mahar (this one also has a few things that the overlay could be), or the Priggle (the overlay could be those things coming from its head like a crown). There's so many possibilities there.

Those are just my ideas, I'm sure other users will have better ones.

Well it is still on the first page of suggestions and ideas, but I admit it hasn't had any traction yet..... like at all. The subetaversary/Keelhauliday 2021 suggestion thread But this isn't a contest so.....

I like your ideas tho -The Hydrus mahar really has a gorgeous chest that I'd love to use on a avatar either as a armor chestplate or with a more vibe.

-With the Bovyne I feel you are missing its most unique feature, that really out there lobster claw tail. But those ankle tentacly bits would be nice to have too.

-Other striking hydrus pet features that would make nice wearables: Hydrus Manchu/Rreign/Tutani's lantern fish thingy(s), Hydrus Neela's seaweed draped antlers, Hydrus Sheeta's kelp neck fur, Hydrus Warador's Tentacle hat/hair or its staff, Hydrus Mallarchy's angry duck feet, Hydrus Aeanoid's kelp arms or starfish covered body.

-I'll always like to see more worldbuilding and I think artifacts brought back from other lands could really do that, especially since most lands don't have a dedicated holiday and get far less themed items than those that do. Ziara city=masquerade, Zombie underground=survival, Veta=Fireside andto a lesser extent Shadowglen=Morostide and neugarten used to be Veta too before the theme change. That leaves us with a content drought for Omen Islands(the not pirate bits), Centropolis, Riverside, Shengui Guo, Darkside, Delphi and the Sacred lands. That said aside from artifacts from far lands I'd love to see flags of the Subeta lands.

Some ideas of my own

-I'd like to see more sea creature Parts: Shark tails with a seperate shark fin, crab legs, seal bodies, fluttery betta fish tails, shrimp abdomens, Tentacle hair

-Human limbs that look like the human is floating under water instead of just standing on the seafloor might be nice too, Relatively neutral clothes would be a plus too so people can also use them for magicly floating creatures/people without them immediately looking piratey. some examples xXxX

-I'd also like to rehash last years ideas for wearable life preservers and Misc sea monster parts like ear fins, finned feet, gills.

Anniversary:

I'd love to just see some of the suggestions in the various topics get some love. Like making items wearable and knock off/recolor versions of items we've been wanting 4ever.

Basically I'd like to see some concepts from this topic given more attention! Please! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recolor

Other then that, well I'd love to see the Legendary Pet color idea people have been talking about. That would be awesome!

-More wearable treasure/loot/scattered gold coins/gems -Fancy Pirate hats, decked out with gold coins or fancy silks, or gems falling off them (gaudy and fun basically) -More wearable Parrots! -MORE SKELETONS! ALL THE SKELETONS! -More pirate ship or ship based foregrounds and backgrounds!

For Keelhauliday - Carpenter's Toolbox - Wooden ships needed a carpenter on board. (This would also be a useful item if someone wants a pet to do carpentry as a hobby) Sail Mending Kit - Very important for a sailing ship

Ooooh I definitely second having more animal/creature limbs that we can finally have with the HA limbs having toggle

I also think some peg legs would be doable now, too.

I'm not really into the whole pirate theme so I'd like to see more mermaid stuff, and maybe we can get some deep sea creature wearables like goblin sharks, blobfish, comb jellies, etc!

Oh, you're right, the limb-hiding feature would be good for peg legs and hook hands (I know there are already some hook hand items but there can still be more) and other limb replacements that could be considered pirate-y.

Yes! Peg legs and mermaids! And maybe more eye patches too.

If my suggestions for other holidays weren't a clue I love books for my pets. My biggest problem with Keel Haul is being lucky enough to catch the older books before they float away. Hopefully I will catch them all this year. Here are a few ideas. Title (description) Please feel free to improve upon them!

Sea lanes (Your traffic guide to the sea)

The drudgery of treasure hoarding (How to bury your treasure where no one will find it. Better find that shovel your going to need it.)

Did you see that! (Mermaids and other mysterious sea creatures)

Overboard! (Performing safe and successful sea rescues)
This might even be two ideas the title could fit a more humorous idea. And another book because it would still be nice to teach my pets how to perform safe sea rescues. With that many drunk sailors someone is bound to go overboard.

Sea Glass (Where to find it and what you can do with it)

Algae (There are so many uses for this stuff we may need another volume)

Food or Friend (The best fish in the sea to have for dinner)

One more thing I know we can find some sea shells in the Beach Shack but do you think the crew might want to sell a few of the nick nacks they pick up while sailing. The types of things our pets might enjoy in their treasures.

[edit] Not sure if its to late to make another suggestion but I would love to see more ocean themed items similar to the and Different waves and water would be nice. Another item I just came across that I would be interested in seeing variations of is the It seems like it would fit Keel Hauliday but it might fit Morostide too.

Second Edit: Probably too late but my sister and I were talking and we thought of the party decor we have for so many of the different holidays. It would be fun to have some summer party decor. It could have a pirate or beach theme . Or maybe an islander or tropical themed party inspired by the event years ago.

And with the token shop up date I saw the Essence of Pete and thought how much I would love to have some more facial hairs to choose from and just shading like in the Pete item.

Please bring back all old goodie bags in either the crystal shop or somewhere please!I need so many books from older bags.

in re: Anniversary Bopper Loot please do not leave the 6k crystal loot on it, celebration goodie bag items have been DeVaLuEd enough, thank you instead just put some of the bags on them specifically THE BAGS and not specific items, since we’re sooooo in love with loot boxes these days (but seriously give me THESE BAGS SPECIFICALLY because they have EXPENSIVE BOOKS in their ITEM POOLS. if i yell about how these are LOOT BOXES with CHASE ITEMS enough, will i get what i want?)

in re: pirates idk if y’all have planned for new loot (we didn’t get any last year) but if you didn’t, please just rotate the loot for the ones that have more than one set of loot
