Pet's that get transferred retain their spot in the HST for the old owner. This is an issue for both books read and food eaten. This is not how it is for battle pets. I suggest the Food/Book HST's be updated to remove owners that no longer have the corresponding pet.

I.E.: The Pet

As of this post, it holds Spot 10....as a legitimate spot by the current owner. They also hold spot 37 - for the old owner (Who no longer has this pet) They should not be on the HST for a pet they no longer own.

I've never really paid attention to the HSTs but if pets are appearing on the listing twice (once for the original owner, and once for the new owner) then that definitely needs resolving, with the listing for the pet with the original owner being removed :)

Frozen users shouldn't be on HST either, that's weird.

Full support for removing transferred pets and frozen users' pets from the HST.

While we're at it, renewed support for not having to manually check your pet's food eaten/books read for the HST to update.

At a minimum maybe something at the top that lets users know thats how it updates. I was today years old when I learned that's how it updated.

I had a pet who was not quite in the top 200, but close, who I adopted out. While I'm proud of how many books I read to them, I can no longer do anything to change it. In addition, since I decided I no longer want the pet, I should no longer have any claim to anything about the pet.

I also agree to both Suggestions. I too had no idea why it didn't update until today.

If the suggestion is having a maximum of 1 spot per pet and defaulting to the current owner, I concur. If the OP suggests not allowing transferred pets to be in HST at all, disagree (I don't think that's what's being suggested but the wording is ambiguous?).

Yeah, even that as a stopgap would be useful. It’s not the most logical method of updating a list.

I don't see how former owners and frozen users could ever get removed from the HST for this if the only way to update is to click on pet's book/food??? Frozen users and former owners can't do this.

just reading this I saw HST as history not the high scores. oops. but Yeah support the frozen users to be off the list. if not that, at least the pet listed with corrected owner.

At transfer or at freeze function....add one step to remove old owner from HST.

If they get unfrozen....they can easily get added back on return by going to the pets book/food list or add a function at unfreeze to check HST and add.

ah...that makes sense. But better just to fix how the list updates in the first place.

Yes, absolutely! Each pet should only be there once, for the current owner. Honestly, the way it is now seems more like a bug.
