I’m on level 9 is there any way of telling how many you have to get on each level..This is so frustrating to keep playing with over 100 moves and so many leviathans and yet still lose smh

I'm still stuck on level 6. How many did you have to find on 6? I've got over 20 and still no win.

I have no clue but been stuck on level 9 forever

I still haven't made it past the first level, somehow.

Ugh... I can't get more than 18 on level 6; level 9 sounds impossible! :( is there a strategy guide out there somewhere?

Edit; ok, I got 21 and it wasn't enough D: I'm guessing it's 24 for level 6. I'm done for tonight... sheesh

I'm pretty sure the exact number of leviathans is random within a certain range per level. Of course I can't remember the ranges either.

Many eons ago there was a guide, but it got pretty messed up several years back and I don't think the thread even exists anymore. At the time I saw it, the OP wasn't there and I gleaned some info from replies, but so much was missing that it didn't make much sense.

ack, thank you for clarifying! I'm sorry to hear the original guide is no more.. it kinda seems like luck is a huge factor regardless of strategy, but I'd take any help we can get haha. Maybe one day someone will make a new guide.. 🙏

The guide was mostly a mathematical analysis of which pattern of clicking boxes was most efficient at finding strings of leviathans.

One comment I remember from the game programmers was that the groups of leviathans tended to be found in a spiral pattern, at least on the lower levels.

When asked about the number of leviathans, string sizes and so on, they basically said you had to find them all and that the total number per level was somewhat random as were the patterns other than a general spiral, but there could be outliers. For strings, below level 9 you won't find any single leviathans, but there could be strings of as little as 2.

That is super helpful to know, thank you! I'm curious which patterns are most efficient. I've been kinda zig-zagging down columns. I imagine I probably miss 2-unit strings frequently as I've been clicking every 3rd unit around a discovered string.. also no idea how to effectively hunt vertical strings, I basically just hope I don't have any. 😂 it feels like a rather unforgiving game.

Yeah the explanation and examples of patterns were part of what was missing, that I only saw references to and extrapolated from that. It was frustrating because I really wanted to see those patterns.

I never saw a vertical string until I hit level 9 - so don't worry about that too much. The double strings are horrible, but on the lower levels it is possible to get a solution with no doubles (again, luck based!).

that is frustrating, I'm sorry. :/ I'm not looking forward to level 9 lol! Does anyone on this site have the gold trophy I wonder??

12/15 Edit: Finally got the silver trophy! Holy crap lol. Only played because of Major Drills.. they were all quite close together, no verticals or 2-unit strings... I didn't realize it was enough monsters to actually win until the win page popped up. Now just the gold to go! :p Best of luck, all.
