I've had this account since I was in 8th grade, so i created a small problem for myself. I noticed that i didn't have the hindsight to avoid this. I used my school email to create the current account , but because it was a grade school account it's no longer in use. I haven't encountered an issue to warrant to alter my passwords or anything of the sort, but i had too, is there a way to change ownership to my current and permanent email even though my original one doesn't exist?

Yep, you should be able to change it on this page by typing a different email in the box :)

so it won't lock me out of account if i changed it?

No, it's been a long time since I changed mine but I don't think it even logs you out or anything. You could file a ticket if you wanted to double-check though
