Pet level not increasing with use of relevant stat booster items?

I just used a and a on my pet Nariph, both of which according to SubetaLodge give +1 in level AND +1 in strength or defence respectively. Nariph's level hasn't increased but their strength and defence have both gone up by +1. Unless the SubetaLodge listing is wrong and the booster give a +1 in only one of the two stat options randomly?

According to our coding, the laurel gives 1 lvl and 1 str and the pendant gives 1 str and 1 def. I just used one of each and got all 4 stats. If you are sure that you used them (and didn't somehow maybe accidentally put one up) and didn't receive the stats, I would file a ticket.
