As the title says, the high score table for foods eaten does not update regularly. For example, my pet Florestina has eaten 9,249 unique foods and should be in 75th place on the high score table. However, she is in 99th place showing only 9,008 foods eaten, which would have been from a few months ago (or longer) as I don't regularly feed her these days.

i think it updates if you check your foods eaten page for the pet? she's at 75th place now, for me.

i teased a friend about catching up to them on the foods eaten hst last night, we both fed our pets, and the table has since updated for both (and then i just fed another ten foods and the table updated with that, too).

i'm honestly not sure what triggers it! for a long time i thought it updated hourly?? but i just fed my pet before i posted, refreshed her foods eaten page, and then the table updated, so now... i'm just going to assume it's connected to that collection page lol

I'm pretty sure it's a combo of cache + checking your "Foods eaten" page. So if you look at the HST, then your "foods eaten" page, then the HST, it'll probably be cached and not update right away even if you refresh. But if you check your "foods eaten" page, and then go to the HST, it should update right away :).

I know this post is old, but the same thing is happening with books read. My pet has been stuck in the same spot for weeks when she should be higher up on the list. Didn't know if I should make a new topic or not.
