I don't know if this should go in the avatars subforum or not since it's about the borders and not the avatar itself, so you can move it if you think it belongs there. Maybe it could also go in the achievements subforum.

I saw some people in the comments of the news post about the most recent border making suggestions, and I thought it would be good to have a thread for them. So what sort of borders would you like to see, and which ways do you think we could be able to get them?

One of the ideas I have is adding some as prizes to achievements that don't currently have them, or by adding new tiers, but I don't know how that would work for people who already have those achievements, or for people who already reached that tier (I don't know if new tiers are awarded retroactively or if people have to do them again).

I think it would be good to have some pet colour themed borders, we sort of already have Steamwork and Storm, maybe we could also have Spectrum, Bloodred, Reborn, and Sweetheart. And I think it would be good to have a Luminaire border or two, one of which could be a more generic winter one (I like the idea of a snowflake border).

Inspired by the news thread: -Centipede border. Achievement: "Too many legs: Feed your pet these bug themed items." -Worm border. Achievement: "Not enough legs: Feed your pet these worm themed items."

I'd really like to see more colors of the sparkle border, ideally new ones released every Quest-a-Thon! I stick with the yellow one cuz it goes well with everything, but I'd LOVE a black sparkle or silver sparkle border.

I would love a Rift border, all pink lightning and purple goo and glowing green eyeballs. It would be great as a high tier prize for throwing sP into the rift. It currently stops at 10mil, maybe make it 50mil or even 100mil for the border to give us something to work towards.

The centipede and worm borders are some of my favorite suggestions ever. I would love to see them made!

Oh my god, there's so many I have ideas for!

• Border for games! Cybill sledding, burrero basket bonanza, spectrail, etc!
• Oatmeal border
• Baking border (for Fantine's baking)
• Dailies borders (Hustler, Iku tree, bathhouse, etc)
• Quester border (for each of the questers, maybe?)
• Zapper border
• Basic, solid colors with a metallic glint (for those moods where you want to keep it simple)

As mentioned in the post for the flower border, an ouroboros border would be so cool.

I would love to see land specific themed borders! EX: Snow on bottom and an aurora borealis on top for Arctic Frost!

Love the idea of an ouroboros border. Plain, simply colored borders sound useful too.

The tiered achievements continue counting once you reach the final tier. When a new tier is added, if you qualify, you generally need to do 1 instance of the activity to earn the new tier.

So, for example, the kissing tiers go up to 1750. You get that achievement and keep kissing to get candy hearts, the site continues to count and you end up with 2100 kisses, you can't see this info anywhere, but its in the database. The following year, they add a tier, say 2000. You qualify, but the achievement doesn't get triggered until you kiss someone, which makes the system look at your kisses and notice you've qualified.

Adding a prize to an existing achievement is a whole other problem and while it could probably be done, I think there's a high chance that this would end up glitching. Much better to add tiers.

It sounds like we will have some variety in upcoming achievements, which will be interesting.

All of these ideas are good, and they would be good new tier prizes.

...Which just reminded me of the Bathhouse. I really don't want there to be more tiers added to the daily pool achievement, but we could have an achievement for using the cleansing pools, especially if more feature for those are added.
