Yeah, sMail is like Neomail. It's a very old system, though. Because of this, you might prefer to turn the comment system into a PM one. To do this, turn off comment visibility on your profile. From then on, you can use comments to talk privately to people and have access to better formatting and a higher character limit. It's worth noting that you only have two-way privacy if the recipient also has comments invisible on their profile.

Also, this may sound silly but, how do you have an icon of your pet on your forum post under your avatar with cute wordings? I really like it!

It's a Gold Account perk. With GA active, you can set custom messages to your pets and pick one of them to be "leashed" under your avatar on the forums.

Don't be dispirited if you don't plan to spend money on the site, though. You can buy Gold Account time with sP (off other users) and CSC (directly off the paid shop). For starters, you can keep the 1 Week Gold Account Medal you started with in the vault until you get a hang of the site. Once you do, use it and try to keep a steady stream of sP and/or CSC going. If you manage your revenue well, you should be able to keep buying more GA time just from your quests alone.
