Hi everyone!! I joined just yesterday, though I've actually been meaning to play here for ages but always put it off.

I'm MK, also known as Maikia. I'm an Aries nonbinary (any pronouns) 28yo petsite-loving artist from Argentina. I work as a QA analyst for a marketing agency and I've been slowly getting back into doing art commissions. I love honey and the color pink/magenta.

I have a few friends on the site already that have been helping me find my way around and I've chatted briefly with a handful of super nice people on the SB. So far I'm loving it here, everyone I've talked with is super friendly and helpful, and there's SOOO many amazing pets and color combos with incredible art! I'm gonna have to start saving up for more pet slots because I'm sure I'll be filling those 10 default ones very soon if I'm not careful...

My favorite game ever is Rule of Rose, a PS2 horror survival game with a beautifully heartbreaking story. I have very recently adopted two beautiful lab rescue rats named Selene and Artemis, we're still getting used to each other and slowly building trust but I love them so much. There's so many more thing I could say about myself but I don't want to bore you guys more than necessary, so if you want to get to know me more just feel free to ask me some questions ^^;

Rule of Rose? I've not heard of that one before. I'll try to remember that when I next want to play a horror game.

yep, Rule of Rose is such a fantastic game if you like horror games with a complex story that you have to piece together yourself. it's a bit hard to follow since the game story isn't really presented in a chronological order and it's more like dreams and memories flowing into each other. there's a LOT of symbolism, plays with fairy tale themes with grim twists, and honestly i could keep talking about it endlessly for hours if i don't make a conscious effort to stop myself LOL. i DO have to warn though, there's (non-explicit but heavily implied) animal abuse/death and child abuse/neglect. the good thing is that you have a dog companion that works as the main game mechanic to solve the puzzles and you can pet him!! and hug him!! he's the best boy.
