I've had several different users that I don't know flower me. Usually I do a Search Subeta find the person and return the gesture. But now I've had 2 different names that won't come up in the search... One is only 3 letters long so I was ok the search doesn't work for only 3 letters (which is still goofy IMO) but the next one is 7 letters long and it won't come up.

usually I just go to my profile and change my username to theirs in the URL. I’ve found that the easiest way!

you don't need to search, just type [flower= and then their username and the close bracket. It'll create a flower link.
