When I first started making CWs, my biggest thing was that I never wanted someone to not be able to get a CW of mine that they wanted, whether it was not being able to afford it at release or being new/discovering it months-years down the line - thus everything was unlimited. But I'm starting to think that the current method is unsustainable in multiple ways. I just want to give my shop some rotation. I may not have many items yet, but it already feels a bit overwhelming. I can't imagine years from now having a shop full of hundreds of unlimited CWs sitting there all at once.
All of my normal releases (not for holidays or special occasions) will be set to have 20 copies in stock, and future normal releases will start the same way. Since I've never sold 20 of anything, I don't really expect them to run out any time soon. But when these copies do run out, I may not restock more right away. It may be a long time before I do, or if there's enough interest to bring something back I will. (Just leave a comment on my thread saying that you'd "be interested in a rerelease of xyz")
All my CWs are and will still be unlimited, so I will never not bring back something. Invitation items like jars and holiday recolors, and items that are unlimited for x amount of time annually will remain unchanged.
I will likely be sending a CW Shop Event to announce when more copies of an item are added, so if you want to be informed of these additions, please follow my CW shop. If you don't want to be informed, you can unfollow my shop as well. I will still be using my ping group and thread to announce new items. I will also be changing my CW shop's description to announce this new change and will include it in my thread somewhere. I'm still pretty green, and these first 6 months of being a releaser have been a period of testing for me, so please be kind.
To Summarize: starting June 1st, all normal releases are still unlimited but will be released 20 at a time.
Hopefully this all isn't too confusing or anything. I'm leaving this thread unlocked in case there are any questions or concerns.
