locked topic without a lock icon

What do you think needs to be revamped? [non-pets] was locked due to exceeding the new post limit but I didn't know that until I opened it because it doesn't have the padlock icon for locked topics.
[edit]It's not just that one, it seems to happen to threads that were already over 1000 posts when the new limit was put in place.
Yeah, its extremely annoying. There are tons of locked threads without the icon.
