I have events in my sidebar saying that users have accepted my dance proposals and I have gotten a certain number of trinkets. All well and good, perfectly normal.

Except that I haven’t asked anyone to dance this year.

Are these residual dance requests from last year or some sort of bug?

If they’re from last year, should they somehow be cleared from the system when Masquerade ends? It just doesn’t seem like it should be happening.

if I remember rightly from previous years, any dances you don't accept before Masq ends, are sitting there waiting for you at the start of the next Masquerade (which comes in handy for those of us who are in the wrong timezone to accept those last minute dances before midnight!)

I've been getting these too and was so confused since I haven't had a chance to participate in Masq yet this year.

If it's true that these are from past years' Masquerades, I wish the link to the "dance floor" showed their name because just looking at the avatar doesn't give me a clue as to who that person is.
