Hello, my friends!
I was asked to post a tutorial how to create a thread post with sCode, colored background and HA pictures :-) and I hope my attempt on the task is generally intelligible. :-)
First step:
Template of the post >>>

If you follow the instructions, the text will appear in the center of the colored thread and the letters will be bold-faced.
Concerning the colors, this is an example for a color hex code website (there are several out there). If you click the general color you have in mind, you'll be directed to a page with all dilutions of the color to find your wished for hue.
Another example:
Second step:
For posting all HAs which entered the contest together in the thread, I open a new blank page (like an email or text program) and place all the HAs together there in the wished order.
I usually use the spacebar 3 times between the HAs yet this is totally up to you.
When I've placed all the HAs to my liking, I am making a screenshot.
If you use a Mac computer, just type "screenshot" in the finder input line and it'll guide you there. You just outline the space you want to have as a picture with your mouse cursor and save it like asked for underneath. If you use a personal computer, I think it's similar yet you are very welcome to post all kind of tips for this here in the thread, too!
Lypsyl added: "I use a windows 10 desktop and use the "Snipping Tool" to take screenshots. Its super easy, just open up the tool, draw a box around what you want to take a picture of and its done. Y ou can then save the image."
Third step:
Now you have to upload the HA picture to an image hosting page.
Worldwide mostly used is imgur as a website, I think.
You can create an account there yet I think it is also usable as a guest only. Go to the button "New Post" and drop your screenshot there into the drop frame. After doing so, you'll find a list of links which would show up the pictures for different websites to the right of the picture. You see a header named "copy link" and to the right, a sign of ... Click the ... and you'll find the links below when clicking "get share links". You use the link BBCcode (forums) for Subeta. You can copy the link to your desktop with the copy link button or highlight it and embed it with the mouse cursor directly into the thread template.
If you wish, you can also add other pictures, like a congratulations gif for example, like this. Then, already done!
Perhaps it sounds a little bit complicated yet it isn't; the websites are pretty much self-explaining and if you have done so for some times, it's easy-peasy.
You are very welcome to ping me and others here to the thread and ask questions if you need help!
<3 And above all things, have fun! <3

thank you this is very helpful!! But I do have a question I used canva to help me out with my last contest. Can I still use it ?
Sure, you can use every feature and website you want! <3 These are only examples.

I use a windows 10 desktop and use the "Snipping Tool" to take screenshots. Its super easy, just open up the tool, draw a box around what you want to take a picture of and its done. You can then save the image.

This is very useful! I didn't know how to make a colored thread :)
You woudn't think how long it took me to find out! The color option is in the sCode so it looks easy yet when you don't place color, bolding and center brackets in the right order, nothing is showing up at all.

Thank you, I am putting your idea in the first post tomorrow!

Thank you both so much!! bows to both of your greatness <3 <3 Something I had wondered about...
If there are any problems when posting, just tell me, I'll help! <3
