With the new "wig" layer that is now available (this is awesome!!), I think "hat" and "head" layers could be merged together, as they both have similar items in them. Additionally, over the years, people have mislabelled those two so that their true layer is often wrong. There's crowns in "head", others in "hat". I think it could make sense to put all of them under the same layer!

i think it would be better to actually keep the layers split and organize them for real. it was clearly very easy to get people to sort out the hair layer so that can just be done again. otherwise we are going to end up with a hugely bloated head layer all over again.

just actually put hats, crowns, maybe headdresses, that kind of thing in the hat layer. more organization seems better to me. really i think a lot of things need to be looked at again because the inconsistencies with layers is bad. especially with custom wearables. i never know where to look for a lot of them.

I have 14 pages of items in head and 15 pages of items in hat. I really don't want them merged. I agree with , they should remain two layers and get properly organized.

Fusing them is tempting, but staff just said to us in a pretty convincing way that volunteer help was a positive thing yay. It's time to put the power of the Users of Subeta[sup]TM[/sup] to get these layers properly sorted. I think that these separate layers would be useful to have separate when this gets done.

I would love to see these each properly organized. It may even be useful to rename the head layer or split it once more. Once the hats/crowns that are in the head layer are properly in hat layer - I'd love to see what is really left and the best thing those should be called. Maybe Head is most appropriate, but maybe it isn't.

yeah i would much prefer a user-supported effort to properly recategorize items in the wrong/iffy layers. i know i would volunteer to help!

Merging would create a headache that really isn't necessary, no thanks.

I'm not sure what's the difference between hat and head anyway? I would say to merge them..

However it does seem to be a big layer so if there's clarification on what the difference is then that's fine (or if the layer(s) are split in a different way).
