Ii just noticed him yesterday, but nothing I do hurts him. I have tried looking through the threads and havent come across anything that helps...can someone help me with any info?

One specific weapon between T1 and T5 can damage him, and it changes after 5 wins.

There used to be a group that would work on beating him so people could get the achievement...but I think they stopped working it out ages ago...I was a part of it for a while...basically from what I remember, it was a random t1 weapon that would defeat him, but it would change after someone got five wins and then hit 'fight this opponent again'

I guess I am done fighting. Either they are too strong for my pet or I have to purchase some very expensive item just to unlock them...and I tend to save my sp...thanks for the help :)

That's the point of that challenger. He's a troll. There had been battlers who felt that all of the challengers were too easy. ALL of them. So Subeta made a challenger who looks very easy based on stats, but the victory is only with time and luck.

/edit I specifically remember it was like t1 and restockable. The challenge was just trying all the basic trash weapons to see which one did damage. That weapon (and only that one single weapon) would work for 5 total battles across all of subeta. Then the weapon changes.

I don't really care about the achievement, but I wish the loot was more affordable. Sadly, there's no other way to get it besides winning it or buying from usershops, since the staff don't release loot in any other way.

If i remember rightly, I think the weapon lasted until someone/anyone got 5 wins with that particular weapon. So it meant that if you found the weapon, a group of people could get up to 4 wins and I'm pretty sure you could then enter the 5th battle and wait and not finish it until everyone had entered their 5th, so everyone got their 5th kind of simultaneously ... if that all makes sense. But yeh, it took a lot of people assigned to pages of weapon lists to find the weapon in the first place...
