I have 3 of the 4 new strains My next strain, which I am in the process of getting now, was suppose to be Pointy.

You are giving me the MAGICAL strain again.

All the time wasted to get this, I could have been getting the Pointy.

- First of all, if you get a strain you don't want or already have, you can clear it by visiting the VIP. You are going to have to pay 1mill for it, but that's the risk you take if you are signing up for a random immediate infection or free strain. If you want something specific, just sign up for it. The new strains for this year don't cost much to get the one you want, and if you want to be infected faster, just head over to the bite directory thread and post that you want some Crystalitis bites for Pointy.

Second of all, at the end of the survival, Keith has stated that everyone should be able to unlock one of the new skins for free, 3/4 means you should be able to get all of this year's strains now without having to develop the last one.

It sounds like you may have chosen the no wait option for the new strains? If so, it will give you a random strain out of the four new ones. You can get infected with the same strain again, that is not a bug. I recommend signing up for Pointy at the VIP, then going here [topic not found] to receive bites to start your infection. You will be guaranteed to get the strain you want that way.

I just thought, with the wording of your first post, and the fact that you were on stage 5 of Magical, that you thought you were stuck leaving the infection to get to the final stage before being able to sign up for another one, which is a rather large waste of time if you already had the skin unlocked, and the was the impression I got from your post was that you did already have that skin unlocked. I wanted to inform you that that was not the case, that you could clear the virus before it got to the final stage in order to start a new one faster. And I did answer your question, maybe not as directly as but I did say that if you are signing up for an immediate infection that it is random with no guarantee of getting a strain you haven't already unlocked. And I told you how to get the strain you were looking for.

I did forget to add the link to the biting thread, Jess provided that, I see you posted over there are are ready to get the strain you need. Enjoy! With shorter biting times you should be engulfed in crystals in no time.
