I saw at the bottom of my inventory that there was an option for "locking" items to protect them (I didn't know they needed protecting!), so I picked a few to lock. I locked a book, then a minion, and it worked fine. But then, I tried to lock a loyalty box. The icon didn't show up as "locked" on the refreshed page, so I tried again. I then noticed that two of my loyalty boxes had completely disappeared. Then I tried to lock one of my two 1 week gold account medals, and it disappeared too! What gives?

Toggling off the categories worked, phew! Thank you so much :D I was scared there for a sec X)
