I'm not sure if this really needs reporting at this point BUT I was online when Survival started and chose one of the new strains (Delicate) definitely within maybe half an hour. I got the event that I'd been matched with a specialist, but nothing ever showed up on my HA in the wardrobe or at the Healer, and when I went back to the VIP just a few minutes ago, I was able to choose a strain like I was never infected in the first place.
I chose Delicate again and just plan to wait and see if the zombification works this time, but I figured I'd mention it in case it's fixable I guess? [edit] Second time seems to be the charm; the Healer says zombification is underway :)
This happened to me also. I chose Magical, I had advanced to Stage 1. I get online this morning and it's gone, completely gone. Now I have to spend another 25,000 sp for the strain and start all over.
I chose random and it also advanced to stage 1, but I woke up today to it having disappeared. It really sucks to have lost so many hours of progress :/ I guess I’ll start over then.
Agree w/ ... it sucks to have lost the hours of progress. Not sure how only some of us lost our strain while others are well progressed into theirs.
Same here, which means I lost an entire day, and I'm really not happy about it. :(
I chose an older strain yesterday (almost 24 hours ago, whenever the event started but like 2 hours later or so lol) and i still havent even got the first notification. Should i withdraw from the program and try again, Or keep waiting? Also sorry if this is different/should be on a different thread, i wasn't sure where to post 😅
Please go ahead and rejoin if yours disappeared. If you chose an old strain and did not get bitten to advance it, it can take longer to progress to the first stage. Programmers are looking into what happened and once the site is more stable, they will update on what they are going to do.

I re-selected Magical paid an additional 25k in sp to do so. I should be at the latest stage of the virus and not at the beginning,

Thanks Destiny. I also paid again, and it looks like it's fine now. I'm not mad any more. I was just so excited when it started cause it looked really cool, and then the progress I had disappeared. Guess in the grand scheme of things it's not something I should let ruin my day.
