I was looking for something like this onsite but haven't found it.
Basically, an item that looks like the HA is taking photos with their face partially obscured by the camera. It was really difficult to wrangle Google search to find what I mean(try searching for anything including "face covered" in this pandemic) but something like
Is what I had in mind.

This is a cute idea. But do people do that anymore? People have smartphones and those exist here in Subeta. This is like Bits and Bytes having 128MB RAM cards still.
Have one cameraface mod, a Selfie stick mod, a tripod (not like the movie camera we have), and a holding a camera in front of your chest to make a selfie in a mirror mod.
Photography is a hobby many people enjoy, and while smartphones are fantastic in many ways, they can't quite fully replace a proper professional camera. The are also nostalgia & aesthetic factors to consider (weren't polaroids creeping back into the spotlight somewhat recently because of the vintage aesthetic?).
We have the DSLR Camera as a wearable item, I don't see why we shouldn't have a similar item that's covering the HA's face.
I'm definitely in support of this! The only camera I can find for my HA to use is so it'd really be great to have a camera my HA can hold and look like she's actually using, rather than just taking it on a walk :P
Either the HA looking through the viewfinder (like those examples in the first post), or holding it slightly further away to use the LCD screen on the back (my personal preference, but I know the "correct" way is to use the viewfinder), would be fantastic.

It's nothing like those 128MB RAM cards - there's a huge market for DSLR / Mirrorless cameras, which have different lenses and capabilities that smart phones can't (yet :P) replicate. So while you might not see people using smaller compact cameras now (as smartphones do clearly have cameras that can rival and beat those), the larger cameras (those where you an change the lenses) are still definitely being used!

The uses described are unusual, and apart from a paparazzo when I see them in RL there's snoots, spots, backlights, filters, zooms, deflectors, tripods, and assistants. All y'all are saying it's unusual and asking for an item that everyone will use as opposed to a CW.
Maybe we could have a millionaire center transformable kind of thing which has all of those things including the OP thing in it.
What a cool idea! Full support. I never buy CWs so I'd love to see this as a regular item.

you saying "do people do that anymore" is really weird to me because photographers exist, both professional (weddings, portraits, families, location, magazines, product photography, etc etc etc) and also people who take photos as a hobby and want a better quality than an iphone or samsung would give you
It's not unusual, every time I go on a nature walk I see a lot of people with DSLRs. Me included :) If you can get some nice natural lighting you don't necessarily need all that equipment to take a nice photo. Anyways we have tons of niche items, and items that I never see anyone wearing. This one seems like it would be at least somewhat popular, and it would be great for TCs as well :)
