so I just recently got Procreate and an Apple Pencil and I'm trying to get more comfortable with the brushes I have and work on my shading skills. I figured this would be the easiest place to start because art is always needed.

I will mostly be working on these at night (CST for me) so expect them a bit later in the day. Depending on complexity, I could have them done faster.

So I did this one first as a warm up because I felt like I could do it a bit faster and play with brushes more. The feathers took the most time but I'm glad I sat and messed around a bit to find something that worked! I'm not a huge fan of the cheeks, but I might go back and mess with them more after I tackle some more and get more acquainted. I hope you love it!

hi everyone! sorry for the radio silence for literally months, my family and I have been going through A LOT and I've just now had time to sit down with an update. we had an unexpected move and illnesses and that put a lot of things on hiatus since we're still not in a permanent spot, but I will be trying to do these in my free time! we're finally slowing down a bit and I personally need some self-care in the form of drawing. sorry again for the silence!
