Just came back because i wanted to play games and just remember the old days and got a couple Loyalty Box. Was wondering what was the best option for me to get from it. I was thinking the pet levels and stats. Was looking for suggestions that maybe i would like instead because i haven't been on in a long time.

You might like reading through Best use of Loyalty Boxes? from last year where a few users posted what they usually choose from loyalty boxes. It really depends on how you like to play the game. Personally, I always use it for a pet slot :)

To weigh in personally on your Loyalty Box question though, I personally think the gold account is one of the best values because it does give you 3 months worth and with those 3 months of GA, you can earn a lot of sP if you plan on being active by doing quests and using the autopricer. The stats are nice, but if you're just returning, you can earn the stats in not too long a time just by doing battle quests or fighting some of the new secret challengers added to the site. I'm not really a pet person, so the pet slot isnt very appealing to me personally! XD

To counterpoint Jovi, if you are a pet person, pet slots are hands down the most useful option from the loyalty box. I used to think otherwise, but I was basically thinking short term and now regretting it long term.

First, they're rare. Pet slots have a limit with how many you can get from the cash shop and the millionaire center. Second, they're expensive. The CSC ones cost 1500, and the millionaire center ones start expensive and go up in price drastically as you go along.

Pretty much everything else, including the gold account, can be bought with sP or can be eventually obtained. But pet slots can't. Also, if you really want a gold account, consider that the cheapest month option is $3 - so you could have a 3-month gold account for $9 - 900 CSC - or you can have a pet slot that would be worth $15 - 1500 CSC.

I have 10/13 filled as of right now in pets. I do not know if added pet slots is best for me.

I have always chosen the gold account option. There was only one mistake when I picked extra pet and I do not even use it.

I agree if you like pets get the slot but otherwise gold account for sure! I have also added 3 slots from early totems (not sure what the difference is) and still had some empty. Gold account is great for questing and autopricing, unless you are planning to buy one anyway.

I'm not sure, when I look back at the cash shop my earliest purchase was in 2010 and there's nothing to do with pet slots. I have been inactive for a while and I was pretty young so hard to say exactly where I got them from but I do think they were pet totems from loyalty boxes. I've been on for over 13 years so maybe the loyalty boxes were different at one point? I have something like 8 of them still to use lol.

@Last_Chance Originally, pet slots were awarded through an item instead. I don't know when that change happened, but maybe you bought some of those? Or possibly were gifted them? I think they were tradeable, but not positive since I wasn't around back when they were used for pet slots

That's definitely what that category means though. Loyalty box totem pet slots are counted separately, unless that's just what early totem means lol

Loyalty boxes, via a check through the archives, were added in 2009. With the mystical donadak and montre plushies( they gave additional pet slots originally), the original max on site was 5 for normal, 10 for gold account, and 20 total on site. Loyalty boxes stopped being counted toward the hard 20 pet limit that was the limit with the plushies when they were still used for pet slot additions in 2011. So yeah, it's probably a reference to the plushies if you ever bought additional pet slots with them back when that was their purpose.

As for the loyalty box, kind of depends on what you want. I've always gotten a pet slot in the past since I'm a big pet person, but I've been gearing toward giving myself a hard pet total limit lately, and I still have a paid pet slot I haven't used yet. I used my last loyalty box from December 2020 on the pet treasure item though since I'm trying to finish up the creativity side of the existing pets I have.

I used the battle totem once years ago to raise Huo's battle prowess because I wanted blue building entry, and I'm not a big battler so raising his level and battle stats worked well for me in that regard.
