I used to love battling, making money and making friends. Any recommendations for what i should definitely do?

Welcome back! If you enjoyed battling before you left, there have been a whole bunch of secret challengers added to the site! Also, make sure you claim all your loyalty boxes from the dashboard page under the Personal tab.

Challengers now also drop amulets and tomes at wins past win 10 depending on difficulty.

Easy - Amulets at wins 50 and 100, Tome at 150 (Scroll Piece at 200) Medium - Amulets at 25 and 50, Tome at 75 (Scroll Piece at 100) Hard - Amulet at 25, Tome at 50 (Scroll Piece at 75) Very Hard - Tomes at wins 15 and 35 (Scroll Piece at 50) Extremely Hard - Tomes at wins 15 and 25 (Scroll Piece at 35) Impossible - Tomes at wins 10, 15, and 20

thanks! They were around, and they were quite new and very different (extremely exclusive!) I see now its really easy to look up which custom wearables are in existence which is great!

They also added an option to preselect the first two weapons in your set so you can just click "make turn" in each battle. It's under the Choose Weapons menu whenever you challenge an opponent. Makes battling a lot more streamlined! :)

I noticed that- makes it way easier! Battling in general feels much faster and even more fun than I remember. And so do quests now, too!

Yeah, they've definitely made a few QOL changes over the years, and I appreciate them all! >XD Another one I love is the Books Unread list, available from the pet page :D

I haven't properly had a look at that yet but what a difference!! So much less copying and pasting and making offsite lists involved in collecting things these days, from the looks of it!

It also feels like quests are, on the whole, more profitable than I remember too (but who knows if I remember right, it was a long time ago!)

There was a revamp at some point that lowered the number of quests possible per day to 10 (15 for GA) from 30, and I think they emphasized making the rewards better as a trade off! ... I have no idea when that actually happened, just a vague sense that it did XD

that makes sense, because I also feel like I remember them being more tedious before 😂

I had another question actually, maybe you/someone else might know the answer. I remember there being a way to randomly change a pet's species and colour by going somewhere and doing something... is that right? Does it still exist?

I know that when life gets busy and I don't log in for a couple months, I get very overwhelmed, so I can't imagine coming back after being gone for YEARS! Not to mention, having to start over.
