Can you not do the vanya thing anymore? I was so busy when that news came out I didnt get to do it :( and now it wont let me?
Unlocking him is random, so you possibly just haven't gotten the event yet. It should still be possible though (and if you have unlocked him, you can battle him any time)
Unlock method
All you need to do is refresh at his workshop and eventually the event will trigger
Also, if you don't get the event after a few refreshes, try looking at your battle opponents under the secret tab and look for Possessed Vanya. Some people refreshed a lot and didn't get the notice, but the opponent showed up under the tab anyway.
