this Tangled Multi-Colored Mini Lights item needs to be updated. it says multi colored but there's only one colored.

I see blue and yellow lights.

I think it could stand to be more in-line with what the item image shows. I also see blue and yellow, but when I look really closely at the full image on a darker background I can just barely see that the colors are more like blue, green and yellow (or gold, or maybe even a weird dull salmon pink). Either way it's missing a lot of colors its shown to have in the icon.

I see three colors in the image on the tree. They are all green to my eye but they're not the same green. This is multi-colored, IMO.

Subeta-created CIs don't have to follow the WYSIWYG rules that user-created ones do.

I have owned multi-colored light strings where some of the colors of lights are weaker, more likely to burn out, poorly dyed, or dimmer and cannot be seen across the room.

It might be fun if Subeta did have a multi-colored lights that showed Spectrum.

According to the image, it should be blue, red, green, yellow, and pink/purple (I think). But on the tree it's blue, yellow, and green (I think). It doesn't matter that "Subeta-created CIs don't have to follow the WYSIWYG rules that user-created ones do." It's a shitty thing to buy something and it doesn't match up with how it's pictured. Personally I think that "exactly what it says on the tin" should be the norm. I know I immediately sold my Tangled Multi-Colored Mini Lights when I saw how bizarrely different they were on my tree.

The reason that this probably doesn't match is because the item image outdates the trees. Not saying this is an excuse, but since they were not created together (and perhaps not even by the same artist) I can see why they seem different.

A major portion of Subeta CIs, particularly the r175 items, do not match the actual item. The words used to name these items also don't match what they are in terms of how they show up.

If this bothers you enough to use the word shitty, then Subeta itself bothers you.

it would be easier to update the CI, which is outdated compared to the actul overlay

there's a difference between using a non-literal image to represent an overlay (such as the cat & dog "ornaments") and having the overlay be what is depicted in the image but in the wrong color entirely.

there are actually a few different rainbow/multicolor light ornaments:

so it might make more sense, as suggested, to update the item art to match the overlay rather than the other way around, since the overlay colors are fairly unique and actually kind of cute.
