Can someone tell me if there is a master list of achievements to use as reference?
Also would be good if this source explained how to actually get the achievement.

You'll find that also in the dropdown under "personal".
Requirements for achievements differ, sometime you gotta collect things in WR or plushie/beanbag collection, train your pet, feed your pet etc. Every achieve usually spells out what you need to do.
