Felt like trying to get some of the saheric slide achievements today. I can solve all of them fine, but holy hell, under 6 minutes? I took a screenshot of a puzzle I solved so I at least could check which piece goes where but still I'm taking way longer than 6 minutes. Has anyone gotten this and if so, any tips?
Edit: I didn't know whether to put this in Games or Achievements, if this is the wrong place lmk :)

Subetalodge has a guide with all the images: https://www.subetalodge.org/page/name/Sliders There was a very good user-written guide, but I'm not sure if it still exists
I personally don't have the achievement but I believe it is easily manageable for someone good with these kind of slider puzzles (unfortunately I am not)
2025 Stalacbite, Focused (7)
I had the achievement already, but just for funsies I timed myself again and finished in 5:11
The most important thing is to have a picture of the finished puzzle handy so you can find the right pieces easier (and maybe try refreshing so you can get a pattern with more distinct pieces, like the Bhakoru; the one I just did was the tent in the sand).
The common strategy for 5x5 puzzles still works pretty well on the 6x6 (and you can probably google a more in-depth guide than my summary of it here). Do one row at a time completely correct down to the bottom two rows, and then work in squares. I did the leftmost square at the bottom, then worked in columns of two for the middle instead of doing the full square at once. I think beyond that, it's just practice

Win a game of Saheric Slide on 6x6 in under six minutes
Guys I did it!!! :o Got a better strategy for solving them (working in rows and columns instead of just row by row as I was doing) and did it in a little bit over 5 minutes I think :)
EDIT: Oh, and I changed to the Bhakoru one, as you suggested. I kept trying to do the picture with the white stars and veil because I like that one the most, but these pieces were certainly easier to distinguish.

And that is a Bhakoru??!! i thought it's a random image! i never saw a Bhakoru in there o.o In any case, i find that one the easiest to solve as well ;p
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
Every time I look at the achievements page I see this one, and the Mystic Spindles 4 corners or whatever it's called, and I think I will just have to end up Googling how to solve these puzzles in an efficient manner lol
: There are good guides for the Saheric Slide style puzzles out there. I had no idea how to efficiently solve these either until I looked it up. I personally then went for the achievements from easiest (3x3) to hardest (6x6). 3x3 works a tiny bit different then the others (it is basically only the "end" portion of the other puzzles) but by the time I worked/grinded my way up the ladder I had the technique down. And as others have said before me, it is ideal to focus on one puzzle so you can solve it faster. It took me like three tries after all that and I had the achievement. I also recommed the Bhakoru mosaic style one. The clear lines makes orientation easier.
For the Magic spindles again go with a tutorial but also refresh until the biggest pieces are already on the right platforms at the start. This saves time. Good luck if/whenever you attempt either one! :)
