So, wild idea, would there be an easy way when the tree opens, it could group gifts by user?

Maybe its just me but it drives me absolutely bonkers as I like to thank each person and only to find i missed other items they sent...so then I go and thank again bc I feel like they might think I didn't like the other thing(s) they sent? And being vague can help that but then it feels kinda impersonal but I tend to err on caution and do it in case just that. Even if it was somehow spoilered or a drop down option (sort by user) etc.

second idea, It's long long shot, add a checklist option for the tree (you could put a specific wishlist /items on there (JUST THAT LIST, maybe its only on the tree page?) and they could only go in ONCE- the user getting couldnt see what was checked off but others could so they dont rebuy the items on that list- or an option to say unlimited if you want more then one of an item say wiz tokens or whatev)

Anyone else support either of these?

i like both of these ideas.

sorting gifts under your tree by user would be very helpful and just clean up the page quite a bit.

as for the second one, not sure about the feasibility of implementation but I had also pondered a specific wishlist/checklist for trees that updates as the user is gifted, but is not visible by that user. would do away with the possibility of accidental duplicate gifts and such.

I thought it did group gifts by user haha, whoops.

I am definitely in support of the first idea, and the second if it's possible to do.

I am definitely in favor of sorting the page by user. I have the same issue when users gift more than once throughout the month that they show up multiple times on the page.

The second idea I am not in favor of. I feel like it spoils a bit of the magic of Luminaire and there are too many ways users would be able to "peek" under their trees (with the help of friends, etc.).

Second idea, no. There was a suggestion for that exact thing Separate Holiday Wishlist that discusses the pros and cons.

Support for the first idea only. I always ctrl-F usernames to make sure I saw everything they gave when writing thank yous, but it would be FAR more convenient if it was actually sorted for me.

I support the first idea. When I was opening my tree in the past years, I would have liked to group items by user. It would have made things less tedious and stressful.

Anyway, the first idea sounds great, I like thanking everyone who was kind enough to leave something under the tree and always worry that I've skipped someone. The second idea I'm not really in favor of, as there are things like tokens, subeautique invites, and minions that I collect that I would actually like to get multiples of.

I absolutely am in favour of the first idea. Like , I was Ctrl + F'ing my way through my wishlist to make sure I didn't miss gifts from the same user. I would love to be able to sort by user, similar to how we see the "Gifts Given" page.
