My understanding is that when used by a pet in battle, that it will take your non-battling pets Hunger, Happiness or Health Down to 0.
Ok, well all, but 1 of my non-battling pets Health are 0 Health, 0 Happiness, and 0 Hunger. The 1 that does have 10/10 Hunger, I am currently trying to feed for Gourmand. Well when battling, It says: Oh no! It seems Maleria has put some sort of evil curse on these gloves! Something weird seems to have happened to your pets... what could it be? It was working yesterday or day before, but It either does nothing at all or Raises the non-battling Pets Happiness by 1 and Hunger up by 1... which it just did! O.o Think I should also state: Non-battling pets are not in Resort and None have a Minion attached either.

I'm using the glove to feed my gourmand the new event food and it seems like it's working as it always has for me? I've never seen it reset hunger and happiness to 0, instead it sets to 1. Therefore if the stat was 0, it will become 1. All my non-battling pets are not in the resort and have minions so their hunger is 0 and happiness is 10. After using the glove, the affected pets have both hunger 1 and happiness 1. Also, it has never affected all my pets at once in my experience, only some and different ones each curse. Currently using it, my gourmand's hunger successfully went down to 1.
TLDR The glove is working as it always has for me. Firefox 87

It's taken a while to confirm again, many battles later with my gourmand dodging the effects of the curse, but it's struck them again, bringing their hunger back down to 1.
I last used this to bring my Gourmand pet's hunger down... 1-2 years ago. So, disclaimer, my memory may not be the most reliable. However, I also remember it working the way says: that the curse, when it triggers, randomly afflicts non-battling pets and sets those stats to 1 instead of 0. (Even if they were at 0 before; the stats would get raised to 1 in that case.) If that's how it works, then there's no glitch here.
The thing is, SubetaLodge's item directory says it sets them to 0, and SubetaLodge tends to be fairly accurate about what items do... "This weapon can curse your pets not in battle with 0 health, boredom, or hunger."
So, I'm checking with the battle and content admins on how this is supposed to work, and whether there's actually a glitch or not. It might be that it used to set to 0 a long time ago, and was changed at some point more recently? I'll try to get to the bottom of it :)

For what it's worth I actively remember it working this way as long ago as 2014 which was the first time I used it.
I was borrowing a friend's glove at the time and had hundreds of foods to go through, and I felt bad it was taking such a long time to return the glove since I could only feed 9 foods at a time (because it took hunger to 1 and not 0) and because there was only a random chance that my gourmand would be affected when the curse message came up - or if it was hit by the curse, it targeted happiness or health and not hunger.
