The same as we have in shops/galleries. With tenths of thousands of items we own stashed away in the vault now, that is a vital but missing option for me. I guess there are many people, who have a subcategory for plushies or beanbags or minions or... for me it's books. If we have those in our legacy shops categories or miscategorized any, we cannot find them to organize or simply see them all for whatever need. Pretty please!!!!

As always, when this comes up, there can't be enough sort options. Right now it feels like the the vault is a black hole. Stuff goes in, but never comes out because it just disappears. Yes, I use categories, all the time! Doesn't mean stuff doesn't get lost in there with no way to pull it back out.

But that is because I keep all my saved stuff in a shop, and I very frequently use the Item Use feature to find certain things, both in my shops that sell things and in my shops that hoard things. So I can totally understand how this would be useful in a vault as well! Even with subcategories, that's all manual and things may be forgotten or pile up to be sorted or even miscategorized. Using the site's default categorization of how an item is used seems more useful.

I like this idea. One of the reasons it might not be there because the Vault doesn't have item limits like shops and this might be a huge call on the servers to check for each item you've got.

Maybe make it a request only thing, so it doens't automatically do it?

If I seach for ID ranges, it's the same amount, I wouldn't think that's less strain on the servers.

Please anything to help me sort my vault. I cant deal with trying to sort it all myself XD
