The Decorating for Dungarde achievement isn't retired so does that mean there is, or will be, still a way to do those quests?

I hope so! I didn't finish it last time, so I'd really like a chance at it again.

Without confirmation from staff, "testing it" just means that it hasn't been activated yet for this year.

The fact that the achievement hasn't been retired makes me think that they're keeping the option open for possible future use. So I still have hope, however slim it may be, until admin say otherwise.

[Edit]Then again, the return Snowflaik to Jaxon Skelly achievement is also not retired, and as much as I tried to shove one in his face this last Morostide, Jaxon just wouldn't take it.

So maybe my hope is more tenuous than I'd like.

Um...I was able to give Jaxon a snowflaik, I got "rewarded" too. However I had the achievement years ago, so of course didn't get that again. But if you couldn't even give him snowflaik, that sounds like a bug.

As for "seasonal" achievements, they are generally active all year - but you can't access the area you need to accomplish it. Like you can't get any bonfire achievements outside of the event because you can't get to the bonfire, not because the achievement itself is on pause or anything. As another example, you can get pumpkin carving achievements at any time of the year if you buy carvable pumpkins from other users.

As for Dungarde its possible they may plan another event in the future - maybe he needs new or upgraded decorations :). I actually see no reason this couldn't be activated every year. After all in the real world we re-decorate every year rather than just leave everything up all the time.

It was promised that it would come back, if only because the prices of ornaments and certain other items he was requesting as decorations went through the roof.

We didn't see hide nor hair of it last year, though.

posting here likely won't help you. While staff does read here, it's rare for them to take action for a complicated/takes actual staff labor thingything during the holidays in the Help & Questions forum.
