Donghua production has been growing rapidly in China over the last few years and it's slowing gaining popularity in other parts of the world too.

Oh, i didn't know China made such shows. I was curious to see some anime produced in other East Asian countries, but i didn't think i'd be lucky.

These ones are good to start with:

Mo Dao Zu Shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) - the MC gets 'reincarnated' and goes through a series of events to solve a mystery. The story also shows what happened during his first life before he died.

Cike Wu Liuqi (Scissor Seven) - the MC is hilarious. The series starts off with comedic episodic eps and as the series goes on, the story dives into the MC's past. That's where the serious part of the story mostly comes in.

Tong Ling Fei (Psychic Princess) - romcom + supernatural elements in ancient China.

Not me, but I have a friend that loves them. She likes Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, Heaven’s Official Blessing, and Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System. She also really likes The King’s Avatar, but she read it in manga form (or whatever the Chinese version of manga is called)
