- Possible Monthly Rename Rollover Date Glitch?

I have to admit that I have a bad habit of waiting for the last minute (not literal last minute though) before rollover to change names. I can't be 100% sure, but I am almost sure that I did the rename on November 30th (before midnight subeta time) for the following pets: [pet not found] [pet not found] [pet not found] [pet not found] [pet not found]
My intention was to change them to temporary names because I didn't like their previous names, and I did it before the rollover because I want to leave myself the chance of renaming them in December. Now still with a GA, and a name in mind for one of the pets, I can't rename anymore. If somebody can look into this to see if I went crazy and remembered the date wrong, or if there was a glitch, I'd greatly appreciate it. If by any chance, my brain glitched, and I remembered the date wrong, I apologize in advance.
[edit] OK, I remember that I changed those name around the time that I made my last few Black Friday cash shop purchase, because I gotta do both things before Dec 1st kicked in. And according to the purchase log, I made the purchase on "Nov 30 20 9:40:24 pm"
[edit] I changed 920238's name to Ray on subeta time Dec 14th 12:57 am (weekly name change without a GA).

Hi there! Happy New Year, and I just want to let you know that I am now certain that there is a bug in the time. I changed a pet's name on Dec 31st at 9:35 PM (screencap below, or direct url: https://i.imgur.com/zjDimYC.png), and now on Jan 1st, the monthly rename rollover didn't kick in, and I cannot change the pet's name.
The pet is Zachariah
If it's the same bug from Dec 1st, then, on your end, it probably shows that I changed the name at 2:35AM on Jan 1st, and the time I edited this post is around 1AM on Jan 1st (screen cap to show that I edited the post at 1am, also very handy that I have the birthday icon, which shows that it's 1am on Jan 1st xD). Anyways, I hope this helps, and I'm relieved that I didn't remember it wrong.
Thanks for writing in. I just checked your pet currently named 920238, and the log says you made that name change on December 1st at 2:38 AM. Does that sound right to you?

@ Bug Thanks so much for checking! Oh, man, I was almost certain I changed their names before midnight on Nov 30th, because I wanted to be able to change their names again in December. But the log seemed to be a pretty solid proof. Is it possible that the log could be wrong? If not, I won't keep wasting your time, and I shall apologize profusely.
If you think the log might be wrong and there are other means to verify it, here's my subjective thought process which kinda explains why I didn't think I tracked the date/time wrong:

- The reason that I brought up my last black friday cash shop purchase on Nov 30th was because some of the items were for [pet not found]'s TC. I already made up my mind that I wanted to have Lucian as a character, so I should have changed his name already around or before the time of the purchase.
2.. I have three pets that was renamed in November, and I was eager to rename them on December 1st. I'm bringing this up because I have to track both November 30th and December 1st for two groups of pets. I knew that I was aware of it when it passed midnight on subeta (rollover from Nov 30 to Dec 1) because I was excited about it, and told myself that I needed to find new gifs for the three pets that I could finally rename. I can't remember if I changed their names before I went to bed or after I woke up in the morning, but the log time of "December 1st at 2:38 AM" sounds a lot like a possible time for me to rename the Dec 1st pets. There was almost no way that I would change 920238's name at that time, and still thought it was Nov 30th. PS. If it helps, the three pets that can be renamed on Dec 1st are [pet not found] [pet not found] [pet not found].
Edit: I was thinking if it's possible for me to assume "Dec 1st 2:38 am" was still Nov 30th. It was really unlikely because of the daily reset (ping for bathhouse and luminaire 2020 news). Also I'm pretty used to the daily midnight reset time, and often get started on the new day by auto pricing and doing quests before I go to bed every day (which would usually be between 1am to 3am subeta time).
Edit2: Maybe I thought Dec 1st was Nov 30ths and Dec 2nd was Dec 1st, but it's unlikely because I was aware of the last day of black friday sales on Nov 30th, and went to melody's cottage on Dec 1st.
But I know that I have no other objective proof, so I'd totally understand that we'd just call this case closed. No matter how sure I am, there's always room for human error on my end. In that case, I feel utterly embarrassed xD and I apologize for the trouble!
Yes, I was thinking that if the log is wrong it would be due to an incorrect time zone. 2:38 AM is early enough in the day that it could be November 30th in a different time zone. (Could I ask what time zone you are in by the way? And if you can remember roughly what time you renamed your pets on the night of Nov 30th, like would it have been around 9:38 PM subeta time, 10:38 PM, or..?)
But it doesn't really make sense to me because...
- I had checked that the time is correct when I first coded these logs, by renaming one of my pets at a specific time and checking that it matched.
- None of our other logs and things have the wrong time zone, and they're all using the same database and same server (time zone is set as a setting on the server that runs the PHP code, and also the database server, so if it was wrong for one thing it should be wrong for everything... including the code that checks if a date was "this month" or not!)
It's still worth looking into since our code has done weirder things before, so rest assured I will investigate this further - but unfortunately you may need to wait a while, as I'll need to find time for this between higher-prio things (I appreciate your understanding!)

Thank you! I really appreciate it. And I hope I can help you find a well hidden bug, instead of my occasional memory bug xD...And don't worry about it. I totally didn't expect this to be a priority on your list. So take as much time as you need.
I'm in the pacific time zone, so midnight subeta time is 9pm for me. I can't be 100% sure, but I think I changed their names right before I made the cash shop purchase, so 9:38pm subeta time, which was 2 minutes before I made the purchase. And 9:38pm would have been the latest possible time for me to change their names. I know that I was in the kitchen/living room and wasn't around my computer to rename (I only rename using my computer and not on my phone) for the rest of the night until about 1am subeta time.
Would checking the log time for the three Dec 1st pets in my previous post help? I was fairly certain about the time range that I changed their names, so I should be able to tell if their log time was affected as well.

This issue should hopefully be fixed going forward!
It seems like, at some point when we tweaked our hosting/servers providers, the default server time zone changed for some of our servers and it slipped our notice. I think I've got all of them fixed to the correct time zone now!

Let me know if you encounter this again/if it seems resolved to you? I've never actually changed a pet name, so most of this is foreign to me! But I want to make sure it's fixed before closing the thread out. :)
I'd love to test it out, but this glitch only happens on the last day of each month after a specific time. So at this point, I don't know if I would be able to test it at the end of this month or the next month. I'll be totally OK if you lock this post :). If I ever change a pet name at that specific time frame and encounter an error, I'll report back.
