Since no one has made a thread yet (that I know of), I thought I might as well do it. I can't find last year's thread, I think that might be because whoever made that one has ended up on my block list since then? Never mind, turns out it was moved to a different forum. But anyway.

So, the obvious thing to suggest is items with the arms and legs in different positions to make it look like the HA is dancing. I remember the staff said they wanted to get the new wardrobe out before Masq started last year so that people could take advantage of the limb hiding feature, but at the time we didn't have many items to make the HA have different poses that weren't CWs.

I'll also bring back my suggestion from last time about masks that have been pushed up above the eyes. I think someone else might have suggested that too. I only know of one item like that, and it's a Cash Shop item.

This could also be a good oppurtunity to have more masks for the lower face as well. I'm still hoping for some plain colours, but more patterns are nice as well. Maybe even based on the different Subeta colours.

It would be good to see some more HLPR Bots, especially the positions from the Metalmorphosis stages that didn't make it into the ones from last year. Maybe also one that goes on the HA's head, like that one Skelly Doll.

That's all I can think of for now. Hopefully someone will be able to find last year's thread and share it here.

Oh, thanks, I didn't know it was moved, most of the other event suggestion threads don't get moved from what I've seen.

I think someone has suggested recolours of . That would be good to see, then it could be used with more items to make a more colour-coordinated outfit.

I went back four pages and couldn't find one either. Either no one made one, the thread had to be deleted for some reason, or I'm having an extended blind moment. That last one's very possible XD Never mind, haha

Anyway, to actually contribute to the thread....honestly, I don't have a whole lot of ideas, but how about working in a little bit of Art Deco style next year? Some patterned backgrounds would be cool imho...I may come back and add more examples if I get some time, but a quick Google search brought up this page with some examples of Art Deco architecture that have the kind of patterns I mean. There were already some roarin' 20's fashion in the New Year's store last year, but I wouldn't mind seeing more!

Pull up some old PBS episodes of Poirot with David Suchet as the title character, those also have examples of Art Deco styles (the intro alone does a good job).

Speaking of Poirot, maybe some more murder mystery books for our pets to read?

Something else I just thought of - cartoon character dance partners. Specifically, the "rubber-hose" style animation kind that was the norm back in the 1930's, the same style emulated by Bendy and the Ink Machine (or if you're really old like me, Animaniacs). Obviously we couldn't have those exact characters (or Betty Boop, she's also from that era), but maybe something similar. Course if that's too creepy, feel free to save that idea for Morostide XD

I also really like the other way Masquerade's going, the more cyberpunk/vaporwave etc aesthetic. I don't have any suggestions for that, but if anyone wants to look up 1980's fashion (kind of related to vaporwave? I guess?) I can point you to some music videos that are absolutely steeped in it.

I was just in the wardrobe going "Man, I wish there was an option for without the ruffle."

Sometimes you want a ruffle collar, other times it gets in the way.

Yeah, that's me, but I still want more than this one recolored. It's nice to have unique models, but I'd love to have color variations for most - if not all - of the 2019 and 2020 masks.

Is it now a competition to see who can make these threads ? They just keep popping up earlier and earlier.

I'd still love more colors of: And a continuation of the ribcage line !

We got some awesome 8-tracks and vinyls last year, maybe this year can be sheet music ?

Neck ruffles with matching ankle and wrist ruffles.

I hate bullfighting, but I love their clothing. Maybe a line of stuff based off their clothing while making it clear that the action of bullfighting is not alright.

Nothing stops you from making a new thread earlier if you like? It does take staff around three months to do any particular holiday, so four months ahead sounds like wisdom and intelligence to me.

Some of 's suggestions are already done, but I like everything else they have there and want to second it.

I thought it was soon enough since Masquerade is about 3 or 4 months away and that's the usual time that threads get made.

Yes, let's gripe about these threads popping up earlier and earlier, except it takes time to make the content and write any plots.

ANNNNYWAYS.

I'd love to see more Cyberpunk/synthwave items this year. Especially with 2077 coming out in a few days, not that the two are mutually exclusive but INSPIRATIONAL. Is what I'm saying.

No, I didn't, I don't usually block people unless they block me first, so please don't feel upset.

Anyway,, you know those held shoes we had last time? How about more of those in a different style, specifically ones that are more masculine since the ones we have are more feminine.

I think the largest futuristic gun we have is and cogworks-wise it would be all the different gun-blades. None of them are as large as the Cronus.

I'd love to see more items that take inspiration from the Sacred Lands and Shengui Guo.

Ornamental turbans like and
Head shawls in the style of or (but without the ears), with opulent colors and patterns.
Flowy gowns, coats and sashes like the wears from Fine Fabrics. I'd also love to see rich, decadent colors like the Marez lines from the Subeautique.
More solid colors for the like red, blue, green, burgundy and gold. Also in patterns like stripes and florals.
Mythological creature masks like Medusa, Green Man or a Cerberus mask maybe in the style of
Some gemstone collars like would be fabulous.

So, the obvious thing to suggest is items with the arms and legs in different positions to make it look like the HA is dancing.

I also love 's suggestion of mini burgers. Preferably with more meaty options. After looking up burgers on Subeta I found very few that were not vegan or vegetarian.

Art Deco or Art Nouveau inspired items would be awesome. I love both styles and it would be fun if we had a place to dance all year in our wardrobe. Or even wallpaper or frames that look like pillars or doorways.

Someone also mentioned the vinyl items from last year and I remembered the sheet music items from 2014. Both were nice but I would love to have some that are just books for my pet. As for other books I'm not sure what to suggest since I have loved so many of the ones you have already created and I just want more of them. Mysteries, and even more the educational books on so many topics like dancing, costuming, the Maintenance Manuals and the sound of color. Oh and blueprints that I can read to my pets please.

One more request. My HA is tired and would really like to sit down. In a chair would be nice but what I would like even better would be some comfy pillows to sit on. I would be very happy to have this request during any event or even outside of an event. [edit] Not sure it may be to late to add more ideas. But I had a few thoughts about my suggestions.

Summary Books

Blueprints Poison (guides, references, or pamphlets on types of poison, properties/what they do, and how to help someone who has been poisoned) Classic cars Acoustical engineering Creating the best acoustics for your dance Acceleration Artificial intelligence Electricity Lighting (creating the right ambiance for your dance whether romantic or lively) Frequency (this could relate to electricity, wifi, or how often we visit the dance floor) Friction (this could relate to our interactions during Masquerade or the force that opposes the relative motion or tendency of such motion of two surfaces in contact) Fluid dynamics (Could also reference our dancing but I was thinking of the study of fluids in motion) Force (an external cause responsible for any change of a physical system) Fields of engineering (Not sure what to study this helpful guide will introduce you to your engineering options) The study of heat transfer (another possible double reference it is the passage of thermal energy from a hot to a cold body) Torque (rotational force possibly another dancing reference) Guides for specific dance styles like Waltz and Fox Trot a few classic and a few modern ones would be nice as long as they can be done as a couple. Forensic Sciences Detective skills (a guide to investigating the truth) Magnifying glasses and other tools of the trade (now you can look for the evidence) Deductive reasoning (How to come to a logical conclusion. There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact.) Investigative research (how to find what your looking for) Embroidery Fabric (fiber identification, flame test, uses for each type, tips for storing) Laundry (tips for caring for your fancy fashions, dry cleaning, laundering directions, etc.) Notions (ribbons, buttons, zippers, snaps, hook and eye, lace, boning, embroidery thread, thread, etc.) Sewing machine maintenance manual Sewing tools guide (tailors chalk, needles, grid rulers, sewing machine attachments, scissors, needle threader) All the accessories (how to accessorize for your dance party a guide to jewelry, fans, combs, hats, glow-sticks and more) Basic Carpentry Skills Wood (identification and properties) Wood and it uses (a guide to the best applications for different types of wood) Carpentry tools and how to use them (planes, saws, routers, hammer, nails, screws, jigs saws) Glues (what brings things together, how to use them, and how to take things apart) Joinery (how to cut joints, assemble them) Joints (the carpentry kind, the basic, intermediate, and advanced guide to how to use them) Architectural Wonders of the World (Where to find them and their history) Decorating for a Dance (suggestions for different themes and DIY decor instructions)

Wearables I had some further thoughts about what styles might be nice. When I tried to think of fashion that fit art nouveau or art deco this without the gold at the bottom and something inspired by oriental themes like this were what came to mind. The first one would be similar to the dresses from the new year shop only coming to just below the knee and maybe shear so we can layer it with other items on the site. It would be awesome if it layered over the New Years Doll dresses.

For the guys I wish we had some high collar coats like this with the cravat/ruffles as a separate item.

For everyone I would love to see more umbrellas. The and are really nice but it would be nice to see them in colors and patterns that fit Masq. Maybe with a little of an update for the first one.

We have had many different colors in the Menagerie and I love so many of them but could we get more aubergine or something close to RGB 2A183B. I love purple in all its shades.

🌟YAY!!! I finally reached 5000 food items! My ultimate goal is 9000. 🌟
My first Gourmand pet would appreciate anything from this list that looks yummy.
Still need Morostide candy if anyone is trying to eliminate sugar from their pets diet
