Details! Over the years I have accumulated a long list of bookmarked YouTube songs. These songs were from all genres, but less Top Hits and more "Oh yeah, I remember that song" or "I haven't heard this before, but it is FANTASTIC!" I got my laptop fixed and they wiped my drive, it should have been no problem because I had my bookmarks saved on my Firefox account. Except I forgot my login.... my list is gone. ;-; Yes, I have learned my lesson, but I need to rebuild my music list. Some examples of songs I remember from my list:

• Phantom Planet - California (The OC theme song. Teen angst bro.)
• Jukebox the Ghost - Hollywood (Lesser known artist, great song! The intro isn't sung by the lead singers, jump to :40 if you want to hear them. XD)
• Peggy Lee - Fever (Always a classic)
• The Wailin' Jennys - Wildflowers (Top cover :3)
• Tom Waits - God's Away On Business (His voice is so unique and the beat is great)

Basically, I can recall Britney Spears or Lady Gaga and wildly popular songs. I am looking for hidden gems or songs on the tip of the tongue. :) I'm open to all genres!

Some of the music you listed I'm not familiar with, but I'll throw a few things out...

The last three songs you put, just judging by the names/artists (which I'm still not too familiar with, heh) make me think of the songs from the NCIS Vol 2 soundtrack.

You mentioned rock and classical, which always makes me think of Emilie Autumn. She basically created her own genre called violindustrial. She covered Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Bohemian Rhapsody if you're into covers, and an original I'd recommend is Marry Me.

California by Phantom Planet was sampled in I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman by K-Os. It's not the same style as the original (which I love btw) but it's still a good song!

I don't listen to country music but Aaron Lewis from Staind is a rock singer and country singer. Since he's in both genres, he might have music that interests you. My dad has been to a few of his concerts and he sings from both genres when he performs.

I'm probably not even close since the music I listen to is mostly Alternative and a handful of singers/groups outside that genre, but these would be my top three prizes. :)

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your music list. I've had that happen before when a site I used to save all the treasured gems I came across over the years shut down and I didn't get a chance to save my playlists before it did.
