Hi everyone! A friend and I were recently exchanging stories about growing up and came around to the topic of websites that we spent the most amount of time on as teenagers. I haven't been around here in a really, really long time (so long in fact that I couldn't even recall my old username) but I was relieved to see that it was just as I remembered.

Anywho! My name is Jack and if it wasn't glaringly obvious by my choice of username I've got a thing for cryptozoology. I also have a tattoo of Bigfoot. That's usually a good icebreaker.

Hey, thank-you very much! I have definitely been soaking in the nostalgia, aha. I used to spend pretty much all of my time chatting on the forums and playing games when I was younger. It's funny how much less challenging some of the games are now that I'm older and actually read instructions occasionally. Have you been playing for a long time?

I still remember how disappointed I was as a kid finding out they weren't something I would ever actually get to see :"- )

Thanks so much; I'm a huge fan of yours as well! That's really neat, though, I would really like to get some cryptid art to hang in my place. I have a tattoo of the Bigfoot on my arm, though, which is sort of like having a photo of him! The plan is to get an entire sleeve eventually! :)

It's changed a bit but also a lot of things are totally the same. It's been a nice bit of nostalgia to hold onto during these somewhat tumultuous times. I appreciate the kind words!

a bigfoot tattoo sounds SO neat, i was actually thinking of doing one someday haha, but rn i've got a werewolf one i had commissioned a while back (pre-pandemic) that i've been waiting to finally get inked! It's gonna be my first so im pretty nervous, but it's gonna be sooo worth it

I started mine not too long before the pandemic struck and ended up having to put the rest on hold, aha. Haven't had the chance to go in and pick up work on it yet but hopefully things will calm down a little more soon, what with the colder weather! A werewolf tattoo sounds really cool; where are you getting it inked? A werewolf for your first tattoo is also certifiably bad-ass, I have to say.

I hope you find something you like for the foreground soon! It can be both the most fun and the most frustrating experience trying to tweak your avatar to look just right!

aw man, I hope you get to go get it worked on soon! I'm planning to get mine around my lower stomach, it won't be too big (it's 2 werwolves, but only their upper halves and theyre together so its just like having one lol) and it's a less muscle-y area, so I'm hoping it doesn't hurt tooo bad! I'm not terrible when it comes to pain though, so fingers crossed :- )

oh yeah, avatars are both my most and least favourite part of any game! I can spend hours perfecting them but if one thing's off it drives me up the wall until i find something to fill the space :"- ) my favourite tactic is usually just layer as many items as rationally possible LOL. BTW, if u don't mind me asking what item is that 6legged rat? im aiming to collect as many animal items as i can i just love them sm!!!

I've been a player since I was 13 (15 years ago now wow) and I just recently returned so I'm still myself getting used to a few things (mostly CWs and the non-unique pet names) but I think I am well situated rn. I've been having a good time working on my pets [sup]BUT DON'T LOOK AT THEM RN haha they're not doneeee[/sup] and drawing art for ppl here! A lot of ppl seem to be into restocking and battling but I'm a soft brain art gorl who doesn't understand those things x.x Just having a good time playing casually now that I am strictly an indoors creature

Stomach tattoos look so incredible, though! You'll have to let me know when you get it started and let me know how it goes! The stomach is one of the only spots I don't have anything tattooed (yet)! :-P Ribs are as close as I've come so far and those really hurt. Do you have plans for many more after your first or are you more of a when-inspiration-strikes kind of person? Also I am so sorry if I'm talking way too much!

I spend way too much time working on my character creation in literally anything I do. I'm awful for it! Don't even get me started on games like the Sims though. I could lose myself for three months in there. For sure! He's called 'Bad Taxidermy Scuttle Rat.' There's a deer one as well I think! Creepy and cute at the same time, as all things should be.

Ziara Raceway is an outlier, aha. I've always struggled with that game's achievements. I'm pretty sure the first time I was on the site I had my older brother play it for me because I sucked so badly.

I totally feel you there! I'm starting to get a hang of things again but I was never much for battling or restocking when I was younger, nor really now, either. I just like to collect stuff to dress up my HA, lurk on the forums and do things with my pets! Maybe this time around I'll figure out how to dress up my profile and make my pets' pages look really spiffy.

omg i was actually planning a small rib tattoo! I wanted a wasp (as a subtle and easily-deniable reference to one of my all-time favourite musicians, Sufjan Stevens, and my favourite song of his) but I never figured out a way to make it look interesting enough to me..... i think wasps are neat enough on their own but id love to do something original with as many of my tats as possible! Now that I'm getting the wolves on my stomach, (they were originally planned to go on my arm) I might get the wasp on my forearm or around that area once I think of a design for it that i like :- ) And i'd need to figure out an artist to commission it as well lol! My werewolves were designed by julianmiholics on instagram, but i wanna go with different people for as many as i decide to get! I'd rlly like one by meaganblackwood (also on ig), but I'd have to travel quite a ways... next time I'm in Quebec maybe haha... and dw, you are NOT talking too much! I have a tendency to rant (source: the mini essay i just wrote) and i LOVE talking, so don't even think twice to say as much as u want :- D What are some of ur other tattoos if u don't mind me asking?? I'm mostly planning on doing animals i think (i'm a biology student, hoping to end up in zoology research!) but there are a few non-animal tat ideas that are just so so cool!!! I'm also thinking of getting some flat eyes somewhere on my fingers maybe.... very small and simple ones lol (ik finger tattoos can be kinda tricky)

Ahh same, even though I feel a lil left out on the restocking/battling aspect, I am too lazy and also just not into that kind of stuff ;__; wish I was! I am with you on clothes hoarding and lurking hehe. Actually, there are a bunch of forum groups (don't remember them from before my hiatus but they might not be new) and some of them are pet-focused! It's super nice cuz they have discords and it's nicer to just chit chat and develop your pets there!
