I just beat General Error 5 times on my third battle pet. So is it for only one pet? I saw on SubetaLodge that he dropped the Rapier of Error! I now it is and achievement for 10 wins for the Psycho Smasher Scroll. I got that on my first battle pet. I can not remember if Syrax got the Rapier of Error or not.
