Sorry if this isn't the right sub-forum, but since it wasn't about making a specific item, I figured it would go here!

I often find myself using the "add to collections" and "add to armory" buttons when quick stocking, just to make sure I own one of everything. But inevitably this means every few weeks I have to go do a deep clean of editable collections. Maybe some people wouldn't mind (or would even want) multiples of one weapon or minion in their collections, but for others, I don't see much a point in having five Queenies in my minion zoo.

I think it would be so nice to have a button to remove all but one of repeating items. Removing them one at a time is very time-consuming.

I would love this so much! I would want this button in shops, galleries, vault and collections that allow multiples!

Yes please. This is one of the main reasons I wont touch the minion zoo.; I cant del with duplicates i cant see (shop says I have 2 etc)

Support, but I would also support the idea of not allowing duplicates at all (such as like the plushie and beanbag collections... because why exactly do you need more than one of the same minion in the zoo?)

The reason for adding duplicates to the Zoo is so that you can have fighters of the same minionkind with different stats, abilities, and names. There was once the idea that the Zoo would/might be made graphically like a wild animal park or a zoo in which case you might need a few for each "enclosure". The way to erase stats and abilities involved taking them back out so they are not a permanent collection like beanbags are..

There is a place in preferences that allows you to exclude minions from being automatically added via the "add all to collections" button. Adding in the other things involves manually putting those things in. SubetaLodge will help you manage your collection so that you don't put stuff in that's a duplicate and this will save you loads of time without using up staff resources..

If you are a battler that uses one use or once per battle things, or who uses different mod crystals in a different weapon of the same kind, it's useful to be able to duplcate. You are using your Armory as a storage space or a gallery instead of a tool to make battling easier which is OK? But Subeta doesn't need to support you on this.

The reason, as far as I'm aware, that it allows duplicates in the first place was because it was set up to be a mini battle system. So you could have more than 1 of the same kind of minion with different battle experience or stats or something. The system was never completed, but that's the main reason its different from other collections.

And I enabled that preference with the idea of starting my minion collection in the style of my other collections - casually collecting one of each minion. After quests, I quickstock everything to collections, and anything that will go in goes in, and everything leftover including duplicates and non-collection items gets thrown in my shop. I don't see how subetalodge could help in this process since I don't want to sit there and slowly pick over my items, check against lists and manually separate what I need and don't need. I assumed that the site itself would do this for me as it does with beanbags and plushies, but I am mistaken. At this point I may just remove all minions from my zoo and forgo the collecting. Not mad, just disappointed.

Thanks for the reply. I've never really cared for the idea of minion battling but maybe staff will get around to it someday.

I would love a button to remove duplicates (kind of how the Vault has the option to remove one or all), or a note that says “This collection already has one!” especially in places where the items don’t stack like Pet Treasures. Not sure how useful that last one would be for quick stocking, haha.

I know over the next couple of years the whole site is gonna be revamped, so maybe this will be considered!
