We got the gooey lollipop items to hide our thumbs for Morostide, and I'd love items that similarly hide the ear that's visible on the human avatar. Mainly bringing this up because my werewolf HA has four ears, when realistically he should just have the two. :P I apologize if this thread has already been made; I couldn't find it if it was.

This is mainly an issue for shorter hair, which has little ear-shaped chunks taken out to accommodate them. Longer hair tends not to have this issue, from what I've glimpsed.

Said items could be as simple as a patch of stray hairs that cover the ear, in a variety of hair colors. It doesn't have to be an elegant match; I'm sure with layering and the right items, users could figure out how to blend the patch in such a way that it looks relatively inconspicuous.

Making a patch that works like a single sheer glove might be easier, since there can be a lot of hair colors but a limited amount of base colors. Independent of color, there is only one base texture, but hair can have a lot of textures.

A patch that basically just removes the black/gray parts of the ear wouldn't be very helpful. As an example vs.

i have and use valiska's , but since it goes across the cheekbones, i can't really use the black to just hide the ear like i sometimes want to do without buying a second cw to cover the stripes

[edit] but even then, having the ear hole shape is... a little distracting x) something with a small amount of texture like (but a version that doesn't cover the forehead) would be really nice

Oh I see how a patch over the ear doesn't work now, thank you . Maybe they can be halftone or three quarters so they are not solidly one color just in case the color or texture doesn't match properly? Sometimes hair can get wispy along the edges.

yeah, there are some wigs that could work with. But most of the problem is that most of the wigs that have the ear visible at all, have parts of the wig cut out to accommodate the ear, like the pants/skirts have a cutout to accommodate the thumb.
