Year five of themed birthday parties! Whee! This is my favorite way to celebrate my approaching birthday and we're starting a little early so that it does not coincide with Fireside. I was sadly not able to run this event last year, so I'm thrilled that I can again now!

The Idea: Post a fun or crazy idea for a birthday party theme (IE "under the sea" or "on Mars" or "polka-dotted hippos in tutus"). Then throw a party for the person listed above you in the list that is here in this first post. Send them gifts that fit the theme they chose. I will throw a party for the last person to post so that everybody has a party thrown for them, Subeta-style. The gifts do not need to be expensive or rare - they just need to fit the chosen theme. You should plan on sending a minimum of 20 items. Also, while Wl items are always a nice surprise, this is not about exclusively sending wl gifts. It is about sticking to a theme. Please do not restrict yourself to wl items only.

For example, four years ago the person that threw a party for me sent napkins, cups, drinks, food and silverware and then several cat-themed items as that was my chosen theme. I personally told a birthday party story in the gift box descriptions of the presents that I sent to the person I gifted.

I'll give you guys until Friday, November 13th to enter and then we'll start the fun. 😊 You do not need to send gifts until then. I'll ping participants when it's starting so that you can be certain. Oh, and this is totally open to anyone that wants to join - not just my friends. Feel free to ping others. Make sure to refer to this first post to see who you will be gifting as the posts can be a little confusing.

Nov 12 is my birthday, so considering I will not have an actual party this year I might as well participate! For my Subeta, party I wanna have it Halloween themed! We don't celebrate Halloween where I live, but I always loved the aesthetics of the holiday, so I might as well celebrate it on line :D

Hi! I'm so glad you joined this year. :D A Halloween theme sounds fun. I wonder how they will distinguish it from Morostide? It will be interesting to see. I'll make you a deal, though - you take me to Carnival and I will treat you to a traditional Halloween experience! ;)

Oh boy, I haven't been to carnival in almost two decades HAHAHAHA We don't have the parades were I live, it's more of toooon of people flowing a music truck trough the streets. Like this full: While I respect the tradition, I stockpile on food the week prior of the party because even navigating trough the city becomes an impossible task LOL And that's because I live away from where the party takes place! But if you do like live concerts, it can be pretty fun. Downtown holds smaller events where people take their kids and even wear costumes, and some neighborhoods hire marching bands to parade the streets as well (mine does!).

My fave local holiday tho is All Saints Day in June, because it has the best food scenario <3 It's also a bunch of parties, but not only it has yummy food, I like the traditional music a little more (carnival is more modern like music, like from the 70's and so on, I think?). The huge parties usually happen in countryside cities throughout the month, so the capital gets a little less cluttered which means less traffic jam!

Wow, that sounds intense. It reminds me of New Year's Eve in New York City. It's something I'd like to go to, but probably only once. I do love live music, but crowds like that are a bit much for me. I've heard of All Saints Day! Now you'll have to take me to both. :D

Thank you so much for the gingerbread items. I made my 21st pet (Chai) into a harvest color and will put your items in it's treasure chest. So far, just opened one present. Will have to buy TC space. How exciting!
