So currently there are 8 offerings for the Loyalty Box and they've been the same for quite a long time:

Some of these offerings are/seem outdated after the various site updates we've gone through, especially the last few years.

One thing that definitely should be removed is the Petname Totem, because according to this news post you can no longer use them to change your pet's name.

I'd like to suggest replacing the Petname Totem with a pet species changer totem (one that operates like the Miracle II Potion) since we have an equivalent for the Miracle Potion already in there. UPDATE: removed this totem so we just need a replacement item for it now :)

so i found the topic i was thinking of earlier when i saw the feedback thread: Loyalty Pet Name Totem keith said "We're thinking about [a replacement for the pet name totem] now! Would obviously like something still pet related" way back in july but i'm gonna guess that nothing's come of that since you just used a loyalty box and the pet name totem is still there.

i think as multiple people have pointed out, replacing the name totem with a species change totem should be the obvious choice.

and wow, i didn't realize the treasure chest totem was a thing? that's pretty worthless these days, maybe that one should be replaced for the cw submission totem people were asking for in the other topic o:

Yeah - it was supposed to have been out but was still there. It has since been removed (made a report in the appropriate forum) so at least it's not there to cause any confusion now!

Agreed the name change totem could logically be changed to a species change.

Depending on how many pets you own, the 25 TC per pet could be quite valuable. If you assume, 10 spaces for 400k, then if you have 100 pets, that's worth 100M sP!!! Of course, I only have 16 pets, for me the value is only 16M sP. But if you're reserving your sP to buy stuff to fill the TC, you may not want to spend the sP to buy the space. I still think it has potential value. I might consider increasing the number of spaces to 30 from 25.

oh, i hadn't realized the pet treasure one gives slots to each pet! for some reason i thought it was for one pet, i guess cos everything else effects only one pet? that does make it much nicer, but now i have mixed feelings about it because i personally have some very large tcs and some very small ones, so if i used it, i'd be spending sP to move the extra spaces from the small tcs to the larger ones? so it wouldn't really save me any sP, but that's a personal problem.

Ah! I missed the all pets, and I just fixed our listing on SL because we still had it at 10 -headdesk- Thank you for that clarity, that definitely is a lot more worth it!

I totally missed that too about the TC one. And yeah, I get super frustrated when I cannot find threads that I know I've recently seen also.

I think we could do with two separate items - one for species and one for colors, tbh. Having an item changing both species and color could be a little confusing.

And yes, limited pets should be included. I'd rather have a MP and a MPII stand-in, rather than have one item do both, as that could be a little complicated for the userbase, since two options = twice the misclicks.

I typically only choose the pet slot option because it's the most valuable to me right now.

That said, I've shifted to working on one pet at a time so I don't get overwhelmed and lose steam again. I would definitely use a totem that allowed me to change my pet's species to what ever I wanted, especially since it's currently so difficult to get the exact experiment pet you want, and I'd love to skip the stress entirely when I'm able.

TBH that would feel like just as much of a reward (to me) as the pet slot does. :)

Yeah - I think leaving the color one as-is (but seriously please with an update to make the wording clearer) and then adding in a second separate option for species changes that includes basic/common for any species is ideal.
