Welcome back! There are actually several ways to get more pets. [User=Ronarah] provided the most traditional way. Here are some other options:

Adopt a pet from the pound that another user abandoned. Adopt a pet directly from another user. Create a zentu at the Bathhouse. [B]Create a scootle by finding one on the last page of the Nature Hike.[/b] [B]Create a bumbus at the Blue Building.[/b] [B]Create a qrykee or yaherra at the Zapper. IIRC you can just use anything sold at All That Glitters. It doesn't have to come directly from the store, but it has to be something they sell. You can use Subetalodge.org to find the cheapest items currently.

The only other thing I can add to this excellent list is that there's a pet called the bhakoru that's created in kind of a special way. Basically you had to have participated in (and completed?) a plot from about nine or ten years ago.

If you'd like one of these pets but don't have access to the page where you create them, there are people with older accounts who'd be willing to make one for you. I'm one of them!
