Okay here comes the medicine of hard truth that most people are going to be too kind to give you. You're not ready to do commissions yet. Your strong points are that you seem to have a strong understanding of lighting and color pallets. However I would recommend that you do some art studies starting with facial anatomy. Also using varying line thicknesses in your art can help improve it too, primarily by having the interior lines be thinner than the outline of the subject. I wish you luck in your art journey, even if you hate my guts for giving you the truth.
Thank you for your input!! I'd never hate anyone for their opinion. I do agree with you but these are just quick cartoonish bust that I was planning on charging a very low amount for - if I ever decided to offer them. Not focused on anatomy or high-quality aspects at all. n_n Was indeed wondering if there wold be -any- interest in quick pieces at all, that's why I made this board.
Ah okay then, just keep in mind that even cartoon anatomy gets its roots in standard anatomy. It's fine to change the shape proportions and scale of parts on the body but they should still be located in the apropriate area. As such if you are focusing on cartoons it's a good idea to study both realistic art and cartoon art in tandem with each other so they can strengthen one another to improve your overall skill for both.
