Notepad widget not clearing

I have the Notepad widget on my sidebar and during Moro I have a list of people that I ToT at. As I'm done with that for this year I tried to clear the Notepad widget but it didn't work. I've tried it several times both yesterday and today but every time that I load another page, or simply refresh the one I'm on, the list is back on the widget... I tried with hard refreshes too with the same result :/
Can you tell me if this is still happening? I jsut tested it on Chrome and it successfully updated and stayed. If it doesn't work can you please let me know your browser and operating system?
And let me know what you are trying to put in there because I think it cannot be blank.

It's still happening when I try to clear it of any text. And I've always been able to leave it blank before which is why it confused me when I couldn't do it anymore. I'm able to update it by just having a space (one press of the spacebar) which technically clears it. But, like I said, I've been able to completely clear it before without any issues (and I've been using that widget like this for a couple of years now) o_O
And I'm using Chrome Version 86.0.4240.183 & Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
