It's just something that was on a worksheet I was given by a therapist once. It means that emotions are temporary states, even if they feel so permanent at the time, they'll flow on.. if ya let them XD

my oldest dog has not been doing well and I've spent a lot of time caring for him, and every day I makes me remember how much I actually love him. One of my favorite quotes is this: "Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well." because it's just so true. My little boy has been with me more than half my life, I can't even remember not having him around!
